You can have self-confidence and secure, loving relationships.
Therapy with me can help.
I’m a licensed counselor. I help individuals find and create great relationships. I work by video with adults throughout Florida, Colorado, and New Mexico (including Miami, Denver, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Albuquerque, and Colorado Springs).
Heal, grow, and gain self-confidence.
Do you anxiously seek love, avoid it with disdain, or swing between seeking it and pulling away in fear? If so, you may have an insecure attachment style. Have you been through distressing life experiences (like abuse, neglect, or sexual assault)? If so, you may have upsetting memories, flashbacks, or nightmares, and you may feel agitated, irritable, or wary; these are trauma symptoms that can interfere with your relationships.
I can use EMDR and guided imagery (which are effective therapies for trauma and attachment issues) to activate your mind’s natural ability to heal, freeing you of trauma symptoms and helping you develop a more secure attachment style. As you heal and grow, you’ll gain self-confidence, self-esteem, and peace of mind, and you’ll become better prepared for healthy relationships.
Find and create secure, loving relationships.
I can be your guide as you navigate the world of romantic relationships (whether you’re seeking monogamy, consensual non-monogamy, or polyamory). I can provide insight into your current relationship challenges and help you develop stronger relationship skills through training in self-awareness, empathy, communication, collaboration, and boundaries.
I work with individuals, one-on-one, because I’m dedicated to giving you personal, in-depth support throughout your relationship journey. Your journey could include deciding whether to stay in a challenging relationship, navigating infidelity, recovering from heartbreak after a relationship ends, learning to enjoy being single, and/or navigating dating, commitment, and the evolution of new relationships.
Improve relationships with family, friends, and at work.
As you heal, grow, and create healthy romantic relationships, you’ll develop skills that will help with other types of relationships, too. Family relationships may be important to you, as well as challenging. Friendships can provide support and stability through life’s ups and downs. Groups can help you explore your interests and can provide a sense of belonging. Organizations and work relationships can empower you and provide meaning and purpose.
Each type of relationship presents unique opportunities and challenges, which I can help you recognize and navigate. Through all of life’s ups and downs, our sessions will be a safe, accepting space where you can explore your feelings, clarify your thinking, and receive consistent, non-judgmental support.
